11/11/2022 is our 11^th Anniversary – help me in wishing the team a happy birthday. This year has been the toughest & meanest we ever had. Doing business was immensely hard. Keeping our head above water itself was a blessing.

From April 2022 we have been witnessing an intense slow down in business activities at Surat & Ahmedabad region. Most of you would have seen this impacting your retail sales, customer revisit & stock clearance hiccups.

We feel the slowdown would be attributed to the financial & liquidity constraints – an after effect of the covid lockdown. Most of the manufacturers & wholesalers who have been operating on credit lines would have seen their market vaporise, clients unable to pay up. This has forced them to slow down further manufacturing and restricting the payment profiles.

To compensate for the loss in business, most manufacturers, logistics partners had increased their costs which really impacted our margin. We still believe these problems will auto correct in the coming months and a seamless business operating environment will resume soon.

We are making some changes in the way products are uploaded & displayed

1. With effect from 1^st December 2022 only the newest products will be displayed on the website.
   • Products older than 30 days will be automatically removed.
   • This product will be visible to you if you had an order for it. This will help you fetch the rates, fabric details etc even after the product has been removed.
2. Booking system will slowly go away
   • Booking and reservation system will retire soon and we would like you to place direct orders using the payment gateway in built
   • Customers can pay using credit/debit cards, Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, UPI, scan QR etc
   • Even though the payment gateway charges a transaction fee, all you need to do is just reply to the email once the order is logged – so that we can reverse this fee as store credit. This surcharge will be reversed for this calendar year.
